God's Promises Regarding Prayer
eSession 3

Ever feel like maybe your prayer won't make a difference or question whether or not you should even pray? You just need a little reminder of all the promises regarding prayer. We've compiled a few for you. Keep this issue around for those times when you need encouragement!

Philippians 4:6
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition (definite requests) with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God.

John 15:7
But if you stay joined to me and my words remain in you, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted!

John 16:24
Up to this time, you have not asked a (single) thing in My name (that is, presenting all I AM), but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete.

Mark 11:23, 24
Truly, I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!" And does not doubt at all in his heart, but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.

For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe - trust and be confident - that it is granted to you, and you will (get it).

Psalms 91:15
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

Matthew 7:7,8
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Roman 8:26
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Psalms 91:14-15
"Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him"

James 1:6:8
Only it must be in faith that you ask, with no wavering - no hesitating, no doubting. For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea, that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.

For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything (he asks for) from the Lord.
